Monto Museum of Art
Located in the heart of Monto, Central Queensland, the Monto Museum of Art (MMOA) is a unique regional arts destination celebrating the legacy of Monto-born artist Gil Jamieson. The museum houses the artist’s studio collection – a rare and nationally significant body of work by one of Australia’s important figurative modernists – alongside changing exhibitions that explore the art, culture and landscapes of the Australian bush. Admission is free, with donations welcomed.
